Summer's Biking Challenge



I'm so great that the wound has healed

That day we both fell

And both of us were hurt

We blamed each other ever since

Though deep inside we felt guilty

I knocked on your door

And you didn't open it

It was spring time then

Time flies and it's summer now

And you're joining the Biking Challenge

I breathed in, gathered my thoughts and all my courage.

"Just do your best, I have faith in you." I said.

'Cause I know at that exact moment

You'll need a friend

And you turned to me and smile

Finally a respond from you

After so long

But until now

I didn't dare asking you for a bike ride again

Though you were the best biker this year

Though I know you'll never be hurt again

The wound has healed

But the scar's still there

We're the same as before

But the memory kept haunting us

We tried our best

But there's still a barrier

Afriad to be like then

Afraid to be hurt again
